Founded in 1896 (originally as the Motherwell Photographic Association), our club has been part of the town’s creative scene for well over a century. We've met in many venues over the years, always adapting and evolving with the times. You can explore our full story via the 'About Us' in the menu.
Our main season runs from September to April, with weekly meetings every Thursday at 7:30pm . The programme is packed with guest speakers, presentations, competitions, hands-on sessions, and photography outings — perfect whether you’re just starting out or already experienced.
We kick off each season with a relaxed meet-and-greet, ideal for newcomers and returning members to catch up and hear what’s ahead.
Over the summer, we stay active with casual meetups and day trips — great for staying connected and keeping the creativity flowing year-round.
